yoSolat Privacy Policy
Effective: 22 August 2026 App: yoSolat (Android, package com.yosolat.yosolat)
yoSolat is a worship app built to work without an internet connection. We run no servers, offer no account sign-up, and collect none of your data into any system of ours. This document explains what is processed on your device, and which third parties are involved.
1. Data processed on your device

All of the above is kept in the app's local storage. It is never sent to us, never synced to any cloud, and never sold or shared with anyone.
Uninstalling the app removes all of this data from your device.
2. Permissions requested

3. Third-party services
Google AdMob
This app shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob and its advertising partners may collect and process data from your device — among other things your device advertising identifier, IP address, device type, and interactions with ads — in order to serve and measure advertising.
That processing is governed by Google's policies, not ours:

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the app presents a consent form before any personalised advertising is served. You can revisit your choice at any time through Settings → Ads & privacy → Ad privacy options.
You can also reset or delete your advertising identifier from Android settings: Settings → Google → Ads.
System geocoding service
When you look up a place by typing a city name, or when the app turns coordinates into a city name, that request is handled by the geocoding service built into your device's operating system. We do not store those results anywhere outside your device. The feature is optional — you can enter coordinates manually with no network at all.
4. Qur'an text, duas, and audio
The complete Qur'an text, its translations, the dua collection, and the adhan sound files are all bundled inside the app. Reading them requires no internet connection and generates no network requests whatsoever.
5. Children
yoSolat is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
6. Your rights
Because all data stays on your device, you remain fully in control:
- Delete your data — uninstall the app, or clear its data from Android settings.
- Revoke location access — at any time from Android settings; the app keeps working.
- Withdraw advertising consent — through Settings → Ads & privacy.
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the "Effective" date above is updated and the revised version is published at the same address.
